I know what it is like to feel isolated and hopeless because of mental and emotional suffering. I know what it is like to try therapy after therapy, self-help tool after self-help tool, and to feel as though the core of suffering and shame remain. I also know what it is like finally to experience a real shift deep within this core, and I want to share this experience with my clients.

Clients who come to me may be struggling with a number of things:

  • Relational Trauma (i.e. Domestic Violence, either as the one experiencing the abuse or the one perpetrating the abuse)
  • Postpartum Mood Changes

  • Depression
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Tendencies

I support clients in changing mental, emotional, and behavioral patterns that are contributing to suffering and distress; creating healthy boundaries with themselves and in their relationships; identifying and meeting their basic needs (which can be particularly challenging for trauma survivors); finding more effective ways to communicate their needs; creating and fostering basic self-worth and reducing shame and blame; healing and soothing their nervous systems in sustainable, healthy ways; and creating healthy, positive relationships between clients and their own bodies.

When clients are done with treatment or coaching, my main goal is that they feel empowered. I want clients to understand their own nervous systems and patterns and be equipped with the tools they need to self-soothe, meet their needs, set boundaries, build healthy relationships, hold themselves accountable for lapses, and experience more frequent feelings of contentment and satisfaction.
